This 1936 Tasmanian built hull was completely rebuilt and converted in 2002 by Morrie Lynch in Eden NSW. 'Taj' is now a short handed long distance cruising yacht, suitable for live aboard or circumnavigation. She was constructed from Huon pine on Spotted Gum ribs with a Celery laid deck over epoxied ply on jarrah beams. Her rigging and sails were all designed new in 2002 and include Selden Spars, Compac Dyform swageless rigging, a fully battened Mainsail, plus furling Staysail and Yankee. All new Raytheon electronics including GPS/CMAP Plotter, Radar, ST60 Tridata and Autohelm.
